Hotel Green Land

I’ve visited this hotel a few times while traveling towards Mangalore and Madikeri, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The seafood is authentic and flavorful, while the mutton biryani stands out with its rich taste and aroma. The food feels homely yet special, which makes me return every time. A must-visit spot if you’re stopping by Madikeri!

One of the best place for breakfast *PATHAL* and fish curry The signature dish *CHILLI CHICKEN *and the *PARATA* is so *SOFT* and *FLAKY* The must dry dishes are *TANDHOORI CHICKEN WINGS*, *JUICY* and *CRISPY* and The thick gravy *KEBAB MASALA *, which goes along with *KERALA parota* and all kinds of INDIAN BREADS Are amazing must visit place it’s finger licking good.

Greenland Hotel, located in Tollgate, Madikeri, is a spacious and well-maintained hotel. The first floor is especially clean, spacious, and has a pleasant ambience when compared to the ground floor. Although we haven't fully explored the food yet, we look forward to visiting again to try more. The ground floor toilets were clean but had an unpleasant smell. Overall, we had a great experience, made memorable by the friendly and welcoming staff.

This is quite a spacious place, offering both A/C and non A/C seating. We chose the A/C section, which was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Another plus is the ample parking space, making it convenient for visitors. We tried a variety of dishes, and the Chicken Manchow Soup was a good start to the meal. Among the starters, the Chicken 65 stood out as flavourful and well-cooked, whereas the Chicken Pepper dry didn’t quite hit the mark for us. From what we experienced, I’d say seafood is the best choice here-it seemed to be their speciality. The mojitos were refreshing, but a small letdown was that neer dosa wasn’t available, which we planned to pair with Prawn Ghee Roast. One minor inconvenience was that finger bowls aren’t provided unless you ask. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious — every bite felt like a burst of flavor. Friendly staff and fast service made the dining experience even better. The ambience is cozy and perfect for date nights or family dinners. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion size offered. Loved the presentation — the dishes looked like artwork. The menu has great variety, especially for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The desserts were the highlight of the evening — a must-try! Waiting time was longer than expected, but the food made up for it. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to comfort

If you're visiting Coorg, this is a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner. I really enjoyed the food—prices were reasonable, and the Chinese dishes, in particular, were delicious. We also liked the juices and sodas they served.

I had a fantastic experience during my visit to Greenland, and I couldn't be happier! The staff, especially Lingstem, were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Located at a prime area. Foos is tasty at reasonable price. Usually crowded and highly recommended hotel.
